On May 20th Reignite Democracy Australia published a four sentence article on their website claiming the Australia election is being rigged they have as yet provided no proof for this.

After four months of rallies the Australian"freedom convoy" has failed to rouse any measurable support among Australians.

The protests have struggled to find any common ground drawing in a wide crossection from far right conspiracy groups like QAnon to anti vaccine homeopaths and naturopaths.

But one thing these protestors have widely agreed on is that they are unquestionably the silent majority.

In February this year a large protest in Canberra brought many roads to a standstill when between 20'000 and 30'000 protestors descended on the capital.

However in the protest camps people were adamant that there were at least one million Australian's in the capital that day.

Despite the fact the Australian Federal Mall is not big enough to hold one million people protestors have latched onto this number to prove that they are the silent majority.

On telegram, twitter, and facebook, various 'freedom' groups repeat this claim daily.

Third parties such as the United Australia Party, and One Nation, have latched onto the 'freedom' movement to try and increase vote share.

But, for all the noise polls are showing that the protesting seems to have made little difference.

Given the high likely hood. That 'freedom' parties and their affiliates will make any showing in the election the only path left is for protestors to acknowledge the fact they never had one million supporters.

Or to double down and claim voter fraud.

Before the polls have even closed members of the "freedom" movement a big tent group of various covid conspiracy theorists are claiming or getting ready to claim voter fraud if and when the election goes against them.

The problem is with Australia's universal voting system claims of fraud are difficult to make.

Covid conspiracy groups such as Reignite Democracy Australia have already started claiming that the election is being rigged through false information.

In a four sentence post on their website they have alleged the AEC is handing out false information. Though provide no evidence for this claim.

Tim Rogers AEC commisioner in an interview with sky news described claims of voter fraud as "falling into the tin foil hat category."

Other groups are beginning to use language reminiscent of America's alt right in 2020, claiming corruption, and conspiracy are the only way that parties aligned with the freedom movement could lose.
